Heard about all the Toyota Recalls? Dave VandeLinde, from Toyota (who is responsible for Service, Parts, Customer Services and Fixed Operations Marketing for Toyota in Southern California) invited us to come over to Toyota in IRVINE!
He will talk about the Recalls (including the parts), the Prius Recall, and hopefully show us some of the Prius work demo stations. This is a not to be missed opportunity to see Toyota at Toyota (and locally!).
Date: Sat, Feb. 27th, 2010, 1:30 in the parking lot at Toyota, at 2 Banting, Irvine, CA (off Alton Between Laguna Canyon and 133- I would suggest getting off at Sand Canyon –from the North 405 (then right on Alton) or Irvine Center Drive from the south 405 (left on Alton) until it crosses Banting, then north. ). It is not too far from the Irvine Spectrum ( a large eating/shopping center).
Presentation to begin at 2pm sharp. THIS PROGRAM IS NOT TO BE MISSED BY ANY TOYOTA OWNER! Bring your friends!

Overview of 2010 Prius by one of our Own- Patrick Wong, Newport Beach, 1pm. Pot-luck.
Bring a dish to share. Our speaker with the Tesla had a family medical emergency and will not be available for a few more weeks.
Since we had the OCPrius Day already planned on Sat Feb. 7th , we will just change the topic. We will have a pot-luck at George & Cathy’s house in Newport Beach (2 miles from the airport) at 1pm and ant then have Patrick Wong, who was with the PriusChat folks at the Detroit Auto Show where the 2010 Prius was unveiled, talk about the 2010 Prius (3rd Generation) . He will summarize all the talk about the changes, the solar panel, moon-roof, better gas mileage as well as show pictures and some video (that is why we need the Internet- and hence at George and Cathy’s). For those of you who do not know Patrick he is a “DIY Enthusiast” and is very active in helping Do-it-Yourselfers on PriusChat.
