Wed April 3rd 11-2pm the Orange County Prius club will have several Prius on display at the Orange Coast College “Green Business Day” at 2701 Fairview in Costa Mesa, at the Quad in behind the Student Union. Come by and visit us there!

will be the Speaker on the Prius that the OCTA has, plus a few words about the CNG busses they are acquiring.Bring a dish to share (turkey, stuffing, plates, soft drinks provided). It will be at George and Cathy Margolin's in Newport Beach. Noon to eat. 1pm for the talk.

Sun. Dec. 2- EVS-23- International Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exposition (EVS)

Public Day of EVS-23! Join us at the Anaheim Convention Center and test drive the fleet of battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles that will be onsite. This is a rare opportunity to not only “kick the tires” of vehicles that are available today, but to drive the prototype vehicles of tomorrow. Representatives from each manufacturer will be on hand to answer your questions. Also, tour the exposition floor and meet the industry-leading companies behind the technology and vehicles that power sustainable transportation.
Also happening on Public Day--the Exposition featuring 125 exhibitors (automotive and other vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, technology developers, utilities, and others). Meet industry-leading companies up close and personal!
And, don't miss the Southern California Mayors' Forum and the Authors' Pavilion.

Bring a dish of food to share and swimsuit (if desired!- pool is about 86-90
degrees). Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and Genuine plasticware and plates as well

are invited. Parking is along the street so no great parking lot fest (tho 5
Prius can fit in the driveway!) .

Tomio Yamazaki, the Chief Designer of Prius II & currently CFO of Calty Design Research, Inc. will show us how they came up with the design of the Prius- 2nd Generation. He has many pictures to show of designs they considered and why and why not each was chosen. Very Interesting! Not to be missed.

Rally & Picnic- OC Prius Rally Sat Aug. 5th,2006:
Start at 11am in Crystal Cove Promanade on PCH (Newport Coast), about noon drive up PCH to Huntington Beach –testing our MPG (prize is a new Prius- only 5 inches though), so go around the bay to get on to Edinger, go to end to Sunset Aquatic Park. Bring a dish to share and soda for our very own Summer PICNIIC.

Dave will be able to talk about the new Toyota Hybrid Camry and what is in the Future for the Prius and other Hybrids Toyota will come out with! If you have heard him at the San Diego Club, you know he is very entertaining and very knowledgeable speaker.
